I've been mucking about with a new lens. It's a cheap fish-eye and macro set that screws into the front of your existing lens, on almost any camera. It's only really effective for close-up shots and the result looks like you are looking at a world in a bubble.
I took a few pictures of Hanna having her hair cut, while I waited for the chop myself.

I also finally got all my CDs into one place; in alphabetical order (more or less!) I think I'll go back to collecting 12" vinyls now and start again.
All this organisation was forced on me by the arrival of my sister in law, Katy from Amsterdam, who will be sleeping in my office. She's here now and I'm listening to the CD that came with the latest edition of Mojo, which she brought over for me. The cover album is "Harvest Revisited" consisting of guest musicians' interpretations of the songs on Neil Young's original album. I love it.
Katy also brought some really good Dutch cigars so I'm spending an unusual amount of time in the garden and using up our supplies of mouthwash, toothpaste and peppermints, but all to no avail. Hanna found out.
I found some plastic bags full of suspicious substances from Amsterdam that Katy managed to get past the sniffer dogs at Stanstead. They turned out to contain herb tea and salt liquorice.
Katy is here to look after us while Hanna recovers from her second operation, which is tomorrow.
After the pump went berserk in my fish tank, she spent a sleepless night listening to a loud buzz and some gurgling noises. I heard it myself and thought she was spending a peaceful few hours shaving her legs with Hanna's new electric shaver. I've fixed the pump for now, but Hanna says its time to flush the fish. She's sentimental like that.
