Uncle Alex and Myrtle come for a visit.

Alex was 55 this week-end and we were thrilled that he chose to spend his birthday with us. He arrived with Myrtle on Friday night and we went pike fishing on Saturday morning. I caught nothing at all, but he had a few sluggish fish. The water temperature is still very low.

After a big meal (and few glasses) on Saturday night, we had a long chat about the essentials (mostly fishing) and then on Sunday we all went to Ely to look at antiques, visit the cathedral and generally hang out.

Dan was a little angel and we all got on exceptionally well. The highlight was a visit to "Peacocks", the best tea-room in Britain, for tea, sandwiches and cakes. They are on the web if you want to look them up CLICK HERE.

Dan took a lot of pictures which you can see on our photobucket page.
