It's Nick's birthday today, but he's in Hereford until tomorrow night. Meanwhile, Dan's school play "Uncle Crumble's Mad Magical Machine" was an epic. Dan was supposed to be a strong man in the court of Emperor Nero of Rome, but he chickened out and sat with us instead.
The show is about time travel, of course. The kids go back to Roman times and forward to a school in the future where the teachers are robots.

We enjoyed it immensely.
