Invasion of the Grand-children

This week-end we had a visit from James, Jo, Jake and Thea. It was a hoot from start to finish. Dan was really good until Sunday evening, when he was suffering from burn-out, I suppose.

The days were filled with wholesome activities like baking cookies, building dens, making throwing arrows and swords and generally mucking about. We visited two country parks and went swimming. Movie of the week was "Enchanted" which is Disney's revenge movie to get back at Pixar over "Shrek" (which was Pixar's parody of everything Disney). The epitome of a Disney Princess ends up in New York, surrounded by rats and cockroaches (Ladies, you've been there haven't you?) But all men aren't creeps and she does meet her Prince Charming in the end, awakened by True Love's Kiss. (I know, but its OK really!)

Anyway we had a ball and miss them already, although I would not have been allowed to type this when they were here. As it is, Hanna is waiting to get me off the computer to do some real work.

Check out the photos in Photobucket.
