The PC we used to create our websites and do all the serious stuff just blew up. To be honest, this was not unexpected; I retired the machine from my office two years ago and brought it home to do "homework" on, expecting it to expire any minute, but it didn't. The end was unspectacular, but definitely terminal. The power unit gave up and cooked the mother-board, which is exactly what happened to the last machine I had from the same company.
No worries! All its serviceable internal organs were re-usable and so I put them into an old machine I had in bits. After a bit of jiggery pokery (several hours of copying files and re-installing software) everything seems OK.
I'll miss you e-machine.
