Nick is home. It's like a whirlwind has struck. We find plectrums all over the house, dirty water glasses with paint on the counter, stuff everywhere! It's all so stimulating with new music from Iron and Wine, Andrew Bird, and of course, Nick who penned a new song last night and recorded it this afternoon.

He's home for the summer, more or less, but has to go back to collect more of his stuff, move to his new house and play a gig or two. Then he's off to Istanbul for a short break, then India for a long one. We are hoping to squeeze in a week in Devon, staying in my brother's caravan, but that's all in August. It's only June!
I'm looking forward to a few days fishing in July with my brother, then my grandson Jake is coming to stay for two weeks. I have promised to teach him to drive a tractor. Foolish thought.
